Virginia hospital patient rooms brightened by surgeon’s daughter

HOPEWELL – An aspiring artist with fond childhood recollections of tagging alongside along with her dad to work takes on a particular mission. On the partitions of the power that Anika Kalluri nonetheless visits commonly, she graced them with artwork to create constructive vibes.

The 18-years-old spent her summer time creating 5 items of authentic artwork for John Randolph Medical Center earlier than heading off to William & Mary. 

Kalluri curated a group of artwork that’s displayed on the joint and backbone flooring the place her father Dr. Prakasam Kalluri spends his days as an orthopedic surgeon. 

“I have been going with him to work since I was little,” Kalluri stated. “My brother and I know a lot of the nurses and the people he works with. It’s really special to me that my art will be there.”
